WFB Welcomes Seth
A big Where Flowers Bloom welcome to the newest family addition. Seth was born on Monday weighing in at 8lb 10oz. He is a darling baby bear. Here's Seth with his proud dad.Malachi & Seth are sure to be friends. Grandma and grandpa are taking there turn at babysitting. They're quite a handful.
Seth is so happy to be here. He can't wait for all the adventures associated with being one of the cub bears. . .he told me so.
Look at us talking. He really likes me a lot & I'm sure we're going to have lots of fun together. I'm going to give him candy and let him jump on the couch, and teach him how to say HOT DOG. Oh, I love this little baby. Congrats to Brandon & Lori--what great parents they'll be. Oh, and what about the new grandparents. Little Seth is so lucky!Thursday, November 9, 2006
Condolences
Deepest sympathy to the Cub Bear Family. XT's sister camera was stolen in a heinous manner while Cub Momma & Papa were gathering food for their young. The good news is that the Hawaii mishap didn't destroy their island spirit. . . not hibernation time for these two beach bears. Happy returns to you and yours. We will miss Cub XT, but will be excited for an XTi order soon.

Free Wheelin' 4 Wheelin'
It's official. . .dad is out of control. We took the new 4-wheeler out for it's first official ride over the weekend and it was a great time. Wally and the Cub Bears showed us their moves. You might have guessed that they are a bit more adventurous than the Virtues, but give us a few months and we'll be showing them a thing or two (like how to roll without breaking your neck). Men are funny. They don't think twice about loading up the 4-wheelers and spending a Saturday morning riding around with no particular destination in mind. In fact, there was a group of Idaho red-necks trying to get a truck out of the mud. I'm pretty sure they spent most of the day spinning their tires. Women have to plan such things. When I want to do something with girlfriends, we plan weeks in advance. Where will me meet? Who should we invite? Where will we dine? What will we wear? If I'm driving, I get a new air freshener and make sure to have an extra supply of gum in my purse. I research the restaurants and plan "with a purpose." Men just load up and head out. Their lives are so much simpler. Maybe I should simplify. I bet if I had a pink vespa that my life would be less complicated. Huh, I wonder if there was a deal at the Honda dealership. . . buy one pricey 4-wheeler. . . get a simple, yet tasteful, pink Vespa for free? Dad are you holding out on me?
Like father, like son! No wonder Ryan doesn't want to move out. Things are just getting exciting at the Virtue household with these new toys. Maybe I'll move home.
Gosh, I'm a natural. Check out that form. I bet Brandon will want me as his back-up rider all the time. I'd probably pee my pants if I rode with him too often. He did mention that he was impressed with my bravery. He even said I had more courage than Laura.
Look at Kimmy strutting her stuff. Don't worry, the 4-wheeler wasn't even on.
Ryan and I went for one wicked awesome ride--he did scream like a girl the whole time, but I managed to hold things together enough for both of us. Love you, Ry Guy!
So this was the first of many 4 wheeling adventures. Can't wait for next time.

Mr. & Mrs. Brandon McNeel
I'm so happy to be with the newest McNeel couple that my eyes are sparkling. Could someone please remind me the next time I wear those glasses to take them off for photos?
Wow--Ryan seems to fit right in amongst the marrieds. I'm sure glad he caught Lori's bouquet. Way to go Ry Guy! You're next.

Brandon & Lori McNeel are the newest "marrieds" in the McNeel Clan. This is an especially wonderful pair because Brandon is one of our favorite people ever. Even though he seems tough. . .the Virtues know the truth. He's one of the kindest people with a heart of gold. We LOVE our Cub Bear 2. The only thing that could make him complete is an equally darling wife and now the lucky little cub has her. Lori is not only beautiful, but she is talented and fun to be around. We hope she can stand us!
The Virtues wanted a piece of the action. . .so, with no regard to any of the others in line, we stopped traffic for our own photo shoot. I think we were the new McNeel's favorite guests. They might think differently if they knew we swiped half a pan of cake from the wedding luncheon. Gosh I hope no one tells them that Laura and Eric are the ones who dove into the cake before the reception. I figure no one will care once they find out that Uncle Platt loaded some of the gifts into his car or that Patsy was caught licking a piece of cheesecake off of the floor. Gosh, in retrospect, we really were the best behaved of the wedding guests.
