A Few of our Favorite Things

Christmas at the Virtue home is officially out of control. There has been some discussion of replacing next year's gift wrap and tinsel for a cruise. I don't think Lula will stand for such insubordination. I'm not sure any of us will ultimately want to give up our gift opening extravaganza traditions either. . .especially after receiving some of our favorite things in 2006.

Ryan LOVES his new golf gear. I'm pretty sure he slept with his handy dandy new golf bag Christmas night. Gosh, man, get married already!Mom was in heaven when Laura and Eric presented her with a new quilt. It is darling. . .and so is Lula--our little Christmas elf.
Eric is now the proud owner of several Jack Weyland books. He could hardly wait for some peace and quiet from the Virtues. . .so he could begin his reading. Kimmy has a new bra. Kimmy is sooo happy. Kimmy is going to be so mad at me!
Dad recieved some new dutch oven supplies from Victoria's Secret as well as a new putter. He's so well rounded.
I nearly passed out with glee when I opened my new camera. Look at the excitement in my eyes as a hold onto my new memory card. Now, don't judge me. I know I already have multiple cameras. I'm well aware that there are children in Africa starving. It's painfully obvious that I have a problem. . .but, I needed a little camera to stick in my purse for emergencies. XT needed a baby sister. That is all!

I hear that the bra was Mary Lu's and it was a temp until Kimmy could go to V.S. That's weird. Also strangely sexy.

Michelle you are in big trouble with the mother!!!!! Maybe you would like your picture on the blog with your bra hanging out?
That little camera could be taken away from you in a drop of a bra!!!

No bra dropping, please. I have enough trouble keeping this blog clean without someone losing their supportive undergarments. . .

Oh, and I LOVE my camera. I take it everywhere. You thought I was picture happy before. . .well, it's getting worse.

(silence) oh dear. (more silence) i do recall informing you to inform me when such trauma inducing pictures are being posted. no such warning came. i viewed it. pardon, i need some time. (2 days, 4 hours, 25 minutes, and 43 seconds of additional, emotional recuperating silence)
