Vegas Can Stay in Vegas

I'm back from Vegas. . .oh, blessed day! I know people live there and love it. I know that there is more to Vegas than casinos. I also know that when I go on a buying trip to Vegas that we stay close to the Convention Center for convenience and that means dark, smokey rooms with scantilly clad women, people who sit at slot machines for days without showering, and large sums of money being wasted. I walked at least 30 miles a day, faced a hotel room with a possessed TV, danced with an old man in the hotel lobby, and had an exceptionally long drive home in frightening weather. Sounds fun, doesn't it?
Despite the Vegas drawbacks, I did have a good time. I love the thrill of the merchandise hunt. I love negotiating pricing. I love seeing all the "latest & greatest." I love eating at the Carnegie Deli and going to the jewelry show in the Mirage. I love big hotel beds and Jan's craziness. Most of all, I love coming home to a clean house, Kimmy, and my wonderful routine. . .I don't even mind going to work in the morning.
