Phil & Michelle's Excellent Adventure

In my profession, I spend a great deal of time on the phone. On the phone with suppliers, salesman, customers, recordings, and complete idiots. I am famous for phone multi-tasking and have a PhD in PhoneDialect. In fact, as soon as I get on the telephone the pitch of my voice automatically jumps 2 notches and I become as sweet as honey. It's a gift. . .

One of my favorite people to talk to is a vendor out of Salt Lake. I talk to him nearly every day. He knows his stuff. I rely on his expertise and value his opinion. He takes care of us--making sure our fresh floral product is always the best available. I remember the first time we met in person. It was a little weird. I guess that over the years I had pictured him in my mind as something--something different than what he was. So, today Holly, Tasha, and I went to Salt Lake to attend a design show sponsored by his company. It was really fun for them to meet Phil and take some time away from the shop to check out new product and search for floral inspiration. Sometimes an escape from the everyday is just what the creative doctor orders.
