Kick-Off

With the first kickoff of the BYU Football season, life is full of the obvious athletic hoopla. "Fully Invested" t-shirts swarming Cougar Town, hotdogs & nachos in abundance, and the never-ending hope that this season will bring one exciting victory after another. For the university's florist, it also means seemingly endless opportunities to "show off" what we've been training for since our own spring camp.

With 5 venues, game-day mornings are usually a buzz of activity. Today was no exception. These are two of my favorite pieces. Tasha designed the calla fan below and I had lots of help with our floating mounds.

With the football team's first victory (against Arizona) came another creative victory for what we like to call "THE LORD'S FLORAL SHOP." Here's to many more gamedays full of football & flowers.

Isn't it ironic that Cosmo is both a cougar and a cut flower? Life is full of so many parallels ;)

I always thought of Cosmo as a cougar and an adult beverage. Now I know it's also a flower. Thank you.

I think if I were a hard drinker, I'd take to the occasional cosmo. Wait--isn't there a Cosmo magazine that you're especially intrigued by?
