A Few (A LOT of) Things

You are about to view a significant number of new posts. Today was just one of those days I wanted to blog. I kept thinking of things I wanted to say and photos I wanted to play with. As a result, you had better take the rest of the morning off of work to get caught up. I apologize if it's too much, but when inspiration comes, I've learned to take full advantage of it--lest it be wasted.

Here are a few of the things running through my mind (in no particular order):

1. The Constitution is facinating. I finished up Amendment 1 in my book this afternoon. Did you know that the three limits to free speech are obscenity, defamation, and fighting words? What's the fun in that?

2. I have got to up my workouts this week. I ran 5 days last week, but not doing those long Saturday runs to burn of an extra 1000+ calories is really starting to catch up with me.

3. The Passat is going in for a check-up tomorrow. Dave, the tech at the dealership, is going to fix her stuttering. Praise be!

4. Short week. I'm heading out of town again.

5. I think Brian is coming to UT. You know what that means? Yep--I will be baking a super involved apple pie that I only make for him. What do I do that? Oh, I don't know. . .I suppose it's that laugh of his that manipulates my domesticity.

6. Kimmy has a hard time digesting pecan pancakes--FYI.

7. L-dawg & Bro. in law are in NY. . .I'm so jealous.

8. Church should be shown on TV every Sunday.

9. I was meant to be a wife and mother. I've been practicing, learning, watching, and praying for it for as long as I can remember. What's the deal? This just seems like such a waste of a good Bossy Bessy who can bake, organize, inspire greatness, clean, stimulate young minds, and ward of the evils of the world. The only thing I can think of is that I might have been in the restroom when husbands and children were being dispersed in heaven. Is that possible? If so, I'm willing to sacrifice potty breaks in the eternities for a kind man & lots of babies (it won't be necessary in my world anyway--potty breaks that is).

10. Which came first--the chicken or the egg?

11. Remember how I talked to Mike Rowe? Remember how I love him?

12. When did it become socially acceptable for people grab themselves in public?

13. I think my closet is THE black hole.

14. I already hate getting up tomorrow.

You could plan yourself a trip out to NYC too, you know. I even know a place you could stay if you wanted. Bring Laura and Kimmy along if you'd like. Sarah keeps talking about how great it was that we got to watch a movie (Conference) at church yesterday. She even requested that I thank Heavenly Father for the movie at church in our prayers last night.

I LOVE this photo of a "pumpkin field." It's my new desktop wallpaper =)
