A Little Rain Must Fall

It's a sad day--for many reasons, but as it relates to my blogging antics, I've decided to go private & that makes my heart hurt a little. I never really understood why people would want to keep a blog within a limited scope. Afterall, isn't everyone kind and good? Don't they just see your heart as it is? Aren't we all in this thing called life together? Well, the reality I've recently come to terms with would say that the answers to those questions are not as one might hope. So--I'm protecting myself. In fact, if you're reading this right now, you make the nice people cut. You are a part of my inner circle. You are dear friends & family whose kindness, support, and genuine goodness remind me that there are things to be happy about & people to love. . .and that's why I blog.
