The Sweet Things

With my upcoming presentation on fruit & flowers, I've had my mind in the produce department. I love fruit anyway--I love the colors, textures, tastes, and potential. Today we had the most amazing strawberries for lunch. Mmm. . . sweet & perfect. Sometimes on Mondays when Kimmy has the day off & I'm at work, she'll make me a tuna sandwich, pick me up from work, and we'll eat lunch at Kiwanis Park. The weather here is finally beautiful & as we were sitting on the cool grass enjoying our simple lunch, I was just happy to be there. Happy to be with Kimmy; happy to be in the sunshine; happy for the dill pickles on my tuna; happy that I'm comfortable in my own skin; happy that life is full of sweet blessings.
