The Other White Vegetable

A couple of weeks ago in primary, each of our presidency took a few minutes in Sharing Time to introduce ourselves. I wanted to tell the children where I was from & thought bringing a potato would be a dead giveaway. I asked if potatoes grew on trees--"no." Where do potatoes come from? With the sweetest and most sincere voice, the 4 year old on the front row responded--"Macey's" (a local grocery store). Of course potatoes come from Macey's, Sis. Virtue. Of course these sweet children are smarter than me & cuter than me. Of course, I'm beginning to understand that this experience is one of the sweetest I could ever have.
