Farrar Wedding
I flew to Seattle last Friday to enjoy the celebration that was Stephanie & Rob's wedding. Sometimes wedding trips are plagued with boredom, annoyances, or plain nothingness. Sometimes you just can't wait to get home. This trip was not one of those experiences. This visit of bliss was full of pampering, wonderful food, dear friends, laughter, and the complete joy of a darling couple. I seriously had the best time! Please note the happiness in my face as I enjoy a beverage at the most amazing reception of the century.
You might recognize this gorgeous group--they call themselves the Farrar Sisters. I call them amazing.
Green kermit mums were show-stopping.
The beverage table was one of the most popular spots of the night--I think it had something to do with the near record temperatures.
The welcome table. Oh, did I ever feel welcome.
The cake table--full of luscious desserts. I was especially fond of Aunt Susan's cherry chocolate cake--a favorite of mine since she made it for us in 1996--when I was young and impressionable.
Oh, the gifts. I hope Rob & Steph don't mind, but I picked a few out for myself. They have really good friends.
Meet Uncle Jerry & Grandma Jackie. LOVE them!
Alicia is beautiful. Okay--all of the Farrars are beautiful. Beautiful friends. Beautiful hearts. Beautiful talents.
Hugs and many thanks for one of my best weekends of the summer. Let's do it again really soon (HINT).
