And this is what I'm dealing with. . .
So, this vienna sausage lover is dad. He represents the leader of the Virtues. The patriarch. The stable and somewhat quirky father whose goodness is apparent. . . almost as apparent as his ridiculousness. What the . .@%$$^?
And he raised this NUT of a brother--whose humor and general silliness have certainly brought about some skewed idea of the male species. Then, out of the blue, Laura brings this character into the family. It has taken three years, but I've come to terms with it--even enjoyed the Eric factor in the Virtue household on occasion.
And now Kimmy brings this home . . . seriously, should I be looking for someone who wears bad ties--because both of my sisters have now succumbed?
What I'm trying to say is that my expectations for a husband are different than most--and now you can see why. SERIOUSLY!

you think the tie is bad? you shoulda seen the way he dressed in highschool!
That tie was given to me by one of the Missionaries in my MTC district. It was made out of an old quilt. It just so happens, that tie won the ugly tie contest in 1995 at Box Elder High School. What an accomplishment. And Brian is right. I may have lacked a sense of fashion wisdom during my formative high school years. Whatever!!!!!
Guess who else's Dad LOVES vienna sausages??
He always sneaks them in the cart when he's shopping with my Mom.
