Stuffy

I'm quite certain that all of you think I've been sitting in my bed for weeks--curled in the fetal position rocking and moaning. The truth is that despite my mini funk, I've been stinkin' busy with a strange myriad of activities--

1. I worked as 50th birthday party 1st mate while Lori executed the most thrilling of surprise parties in Alan's honor. Check out her blog for photos and a brief recap.

2. At some point, I had my arms waxed. Probably best not to ask the specifics.

3. I planned a fun little dinner party with some old friends, but had to cancel last Sunday because I felt gucky. Sadness.

4. Kimmy's wedding is nigh. 4 weeks from today is the wedding. 3 weeks from today is shower #2 (in Utah), 2 weeks from today is shower #1 (in tater country), 1 week from today is Homecoming, TODAY is semi-panic.

5. I made a presentation on Wednesday night to the Utah Valley Gardeners Association. They were lovely & I had a wonderful time visiting with them.

6. Fall always inspires me to cook. I tried Zucchini Cookies from HERE. They seem pretty great.

7. I found the blogs of 2 friends (oldies, but goodies)--Sally & Jennifer.

8. Happy.
