A True Story
I went to visit my Kimmy in Massachusetts last week. The view from her house is like something out of a Country Living magazine. Seriously, leaves and colors that seem to go on forever. One of the bonuses of visiting K is that there are lots of handsome men at her house. Damian is one of the charmers. This is our story . . .
Once upon a time, Damian and I were in fall bliss--baking cookies and making Mickey jewelry with grandma's yarn.
Then the weatherman predicted precipitation and we prayed he was incorrect in his premonition.
Unfortunately, weatherman was right on the money and we were surrounded by 15" of the white stuff. The snow took our power and water, but not our spirit. It did make us a little goofy (and smelly). We ate chili on the Coleman, watched movies next to the fire and did LOTS of cuddling. We learned that being prepared is important, hand wipes are essential and, most importantly, that family has to love you NO MATTER how greasy your hair is.
And they lived happily ever after (at least after Friday when Kimmy's power came back).

I admit... It sounds like fun
Greasy pictures, greasy pictures!!!!
There will be NO greasy pictures. The camera was buried in the snow for the rest of the week. Sorry!
That sounds like so much fun--so glad you were there for the adventure!! :D
