Happy Mother's Day

To the greatest mom in the history of moms. Thank you for school lunches in my Strawberry Shortcake lunch box. Thank you for never missing a performance, for spelling bee flashcards, and holding me in your rocking chair. Thank you for fixing my hair in side ponytails and wonderful birthday parties with lots of friends. Thank you for teaching me to be kind and polite. Thank you for morning scripture study and Christmas magic. Thank you for taking me to craft stores and for putting up with my sour look. Thank you for sacrificing so that I would never go without. Thank you for rice and raisins and music lessons. Thank you for letting me lay by you in your bed in the mornings after dad leaves. Thank you for being a happy person and for making laughter a part of our lives. Thank you for helping me understand my worth. Thank you for being there everyday of my life. . .the good and the bad. Thank you for being my advocate, teacher, and friend. Thank you for helping me see that the greatest thing any woman can do in this life and the life after--is to be a mother.
