A fond farewell to Bob Barker. He has been hosting The Price is Right for nearly as long as I've been alive. Trust me, our family has spent many a morning at 9am watching Mr. Barker and his Beauties test the monetary savy of America's finest. I think Laura even went to a taping. And if my memory serves me, I do believe that Ryan went through a period of time where he would only answer to the name Bob Barker. Boy, I wish I could have won a grandfather clock from Bob (before the Janice incident). . .just one.
Come on Down, Bob!. . .to the unemployment line.

I know two people who have won the showcase showdown. As part of his loot, Josh won an arcade game which he donated to the blind...okay, he sold it and donated the proceeds to the blind. He also won such things as a diamond necklace, his and her roller blades, some lovely chinaware...oh, and a boat. My friend Carrie also won a boat and a trip to New Orelans (pre Katrina) among other things. Too bad she is from New Orleans.
