Hammond Art

Meet my sweet friend, Kerri Hammond! Kerri & I met while working at Kesler's Garden Center--back in the day. We worked together again at the CCF & now Kerri is the cutest mom to two boys and an aspiring artist. Last week she invited me to her art showing at a local gallery. Her husband, Ben, is also an accomplished artist and was showing several of his own pieces as well. They are both so talented and down to earth--love them! Thanks, friends, for the invitation and for letting me absorb some of your brilliance.

Treasures

I went out to the Jenkins this afternoon. It is like food for my soul. The kids are so cute and so sweet to me. It honestly made my week. Ali created some beautiful artwork and Miss Brooke made me a book. I love these little treasures and cherish their creators.

Please note that the third drawing is of me. Don't I look amazing. Great volume in my hair, a stylin' wrap around shirt, and slightly aged jeans. . .not to mention the footwear. Man, my feet are getting wide.
