Day 2
Day two of my experimental photography project was fun. I try to be somewhat inconspicuous when I'm photographing these random things--but at some point I don't really care what people think about me taking a picture of the cars in the parking lot--though I think Kimmy was nearly arrested for doing something similar in a D.C. lot a year or so ago.
My first shot is on the cusp of pornographic, but I hope you'll forgive me. I like to start my day with a shower. I guess it could be worse--I could have taken a picture pre-towel.
Some everyday wears.
Heading into work, I'm always greeted by one of these--
Customers at our counter--a sign of some success.
This kalanchoe has provided weeks of beauty. I love to walk past its brilliant color.
The view as I leave work.
This is usually where I run into some trouble. After working in the same building for over 8 years--my parking position is easily confused from day to day. I'm often found wandering aimlessly around the lot around 5:30--wondering where in the hell I parked the Passat.
The good news is that so far I've found her every time!
My monster purse. Maybe I'll show you what's inside tomorrow. . .
Home again, home again, jiggity jig.
How bout banana pancakes for dinner?
Pretty dishes are so much more fun to wash.
Bringing fall to today makes everything feel, look, and smell better.
It's time to work on the primary program. I've stalled enough!
Good night, sweet day.
