WFB Custom Albums

For some reason, I have been especially busy lately taking and filling orders for my custom albums. As much time and energy as it takes to make one of these books, there's nothing quite as sweet as handing a collection of memories over to a new bride, a first-time mom, or an excited 8 year old. As of today, I'm officially caught up (YIPPEE) and am once again accepting orders. If you or someone you know is interested in having a custom event album made or would like information about how to order, please contact me via e-mail (michelle.virtue@gmail.com) and I will send the specifics. I'm feeling especially creative right now and would love to put that creativity to work. I specialize in guest books, wedding albums, baby books, family memory keepsakes, and baptism books. They make great gifts and there are price breaks with multiple book copies.

Scrapping for a Cause

WHO
Anyone who can! You don’t need to be super creative (although you can be) to be of help. Feel free to invite family and friends to join you!

WHAT TO BRING
The most crucial supplies to bring will be scissors and adhesives. We will have some there, but if we have a good turn-out, you will have to take turns using these items. Also, if you have any old scrapbook supplies you wish to donate or that you wish to use, feel free to bring these and share them with others.

We’re hoping to be able to get most if not all of these scrapbook albums done in this session, but we know we can’t do it alone. We hope you’ll all make an effort to come and join us. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.

Color Inspiration

Today my cute friend, Sarah sent me a link to a new product line the company she works for is now selling. It is darling. She is darling. I am going to be darling, too, because I've decided to order a bunch of their stuff for my darling store. I L.o.V.e. my job. Visit the American Crafts Blog. . .you'll be so happy. Oh, Sarah--don't let any of the A.C. legal team know I posted this stolen picture. I won't be able to afford darlingness if I'm paying to defend myself.

Creativity is ALIVE

Lest you think I have given up on my creative endeavors, I'm posting a picture of my most recent album. Yep, that's me on the cover. Yep, I'm vain. Yep, I LOVE this book.

Since I didn't really do any scrapbooking for myself in 2006, I decided to create a custom 8x8 album to celebrate one my favorite years. I used some non-traditional colors and had this photo printed to fit the cover. The truth is that I started the book last December and haven't worked on it for nearly 6 months. But, after taking some time to focus on other more pressing matters, I spent a bit of quality crafting time working toward its completion. I still have a few bits and pieces to add, but the meat of it is done.

Yeah for creative outlets. Yeah for completed projects. Yeah for life.

I {LOVE} THIS BOOK! You know, I need to create. Maybe when school gets out and life slows down. Who am I kidding? I'll be dead before that happens. I'm making time today.

Alicia. . .thanks for the much needed visit. I will be thinking of you this weekend--wishing we could meet late one night next week to decorate our lives. Instead, I'll settle for the occassional, but wonderful phone call and the promise of crossing state boundaries. HUGS!
