Someone finally made it official--Laura Pig is expecting piglets and Laura Sister is expecting a BOY! Needless to say, I'm SO excited to be an auntie again!!!
Congrats to both the Laura's and their faithful companion, BIL Eric.
There's just something about being sisters. I can't explain it, but I know that there more days than I can count when the sound of their voices just calms me.

Today was a lovely day for a bridal shower brunch. It was also a lovely day to be with friends and family to celebrate our Kimmy & her goodness.

The Virtue home is full of memories. It's one of the reasons I love to be there. Unfortunately, sometimes you have the let the physical manifestations of your past go to the distant land we like to call Deseret Industries.
Laura grew up in these puppy slippers--a tidbit of information Eric will probably use to convince her that they need a dog.
Regardless, the pair of pups have been shipped to the kennel in the sheltered workshop sky.
Did I forget to mention that Eric recently gave Laura a cleanup cut.
Kimmy might have a little competition. . . ?
Laura Bear has a new haircut. It looks hot. She has once again moved up on the sassy sister scale--if that's possible. Kudos to Kimmy for the snip snip.
Laura dear--thank you for a wonderful afternoon at the pool. Thank you for making sure my sunscreen was rubbed in. Thank you for good conversation. Thank you for telling me I have great legs. Thank you for being my people watching buddy. Thank you for Summer Saturday outings. I will be expecting a post soon about the Municipal Pool Makeout Session. Hugs!
A little snapshot from Laura's Birthday Bonanza! She has finally decided to join the bandwagon and shamelessly solicit herself for birthday happiness (that sounds kinda creepy, huh?) and I think it paid off. She definitely scored (probably not the best choice of words either) some serious electronic gadgets. We had a great evening. . .lots of laughs and plenty of birthday goodness. Sure do love being a sister. It's honestly one of the greatest things in my life.
