Pray for the Children of Haiti

Remember when we helped with Haiti Days for A Child's Hope Foundation? The disaster in Haiti reminded me of that sweet day when the children adopted from Haiti were so willing to open their hearts and play. Children are like that--they love unconditionally. It's one of the most wonderful things I've learned over the past few years. Yesterday in primary, I was looking out at all those little faces that I have grown to love so much and I couldn't help but think about sweet faces of the Haitian children. We prayed for them in primary and I found peace in knowing that the prayers of children are powerful.

Hark the Herald

Lori called me at exactly 8:01 this morning from her recently relocated cell phone to tell me my picture was in the newspaper. It is a very nice article about A Child's Hope Foundation. . .which I love. The best part is that my picture is directly under the title GIVING & GOOD NEWS in UTAH VALLEY. Thank heavens I'm not listed in the TAKEN & BAD NEWS in UTAH VALLEY. The last time that happened it was quite embarrassing. Also note that I'm on the missionary page. Good karma if you ask me.

Don't even worry. I bought out every Saturday paper I could get my hands on. You'll all be receiving a copy. . .maybe I'll wrap everyone's Christmas gifts in newspaper this year. That way, my smiling face could be at the top of all your packages.
