The Lewis Union
I really do love weddings & when those celebrations are centered around the happiness of your dearest friend who also happens to be your sister, it's especially sweet. I'm posting a few more photos taken at the temple last week & promise to do the same with a few reception shots as soon as I do some editing and collecting.
The Mayor is handsome, don't you think?
At some point--I think it was while we were waiting FOREVER for the happy couple to emerge, I started to look like this (a tired auntie with a big bag).
This is my new friend Pat (a.k.a. Aaron's mom).
The boys (a.k.a. a mix of lots of fun & trouble).

Uncle Wally--who is quite possibly one of our favorite people EVER was kind enough to take many of the photos in this post. He's a doll. . .and so is his super-cute wife he helped us SO much with our final wedding preparations. Thanks, Suzanne!
Annette--who is always so good to us. She is just one of those people in your life that make you feel blessed. Her willingness and helping hands are things I aspire to! We love you!
I wonder what he was up to when this shot was taken. . . .couldn't be anything good!
I think the label found within this photo is SOOO appropriate. . .SAINTS.
And with 6 you have family.
MMMM, couldn't you just eat him right up?
OOOOH, and this one, too.
Kimmy & grandma.
One of my favorite pairs.
Me & my wedding planning co-chair. Mom, you are my favorite. I'm so glad you're mine.
Sometimes weddings can make you feel like THIS!
But most of the time, our little corner of the world feels like this. . .
Jared traveled all the way from Philadelphia. It was so good to visit with him--even for just a wild minute. I wonder if he tried to clean out Kimmy's purse?
And, my dear blogging friends, this is what it's all about--being together. Making memories. And laughing while you do it!
Bouquet tossing, anyone?

When It's OK to Blow IT
For those of you who have been reading WFB from the beginning, you will recall that the Virtues have a wedding tradition that we take pretty seriously. The night before my parents were married, they gathered family and friends for an informal bubble blowing contest. We continued that silly tradition when Laura & Eric were married & couldn't let the Lewis nuptials pass without this right of passage. So, after the Halloween festivities ended, we pulled out the gum & the blowing began.
I gave the bride-to-be a run for her money.
Laura selected the Dubble Bubble assortment.

And here's the winner, folks. Yes, once again, Ryan BLOWS the competition out of the water. Now that's one talented brother we've got there.

Let the Wedding Games Begin

Blessed, blessed day. I've made it to Blackfoot with all of my wedding wares & we're on our way to a big B-foot bash. A special thanks to all those who helped make my trip possible--including the girls at work who have put up with my wedding planning and plotting for weeks, Laura bear who talks me through things every afternoon at 5:05 pm, Mary who completes her assignments, the Passat for transporting loads and loads of dishes, chocolates, flowers, and miscellaneous goodness. Oh, and thanks to Kimmy & Aaron for getting married. It provides the perfect excuse to throw a party.
