FRESCA

I have a stinkin' cold. It has been threatening for about a week, but I think I was spared most of the dehabilitating symptoms because of the wedding. All of those vitamin c tablets, Cold-Ease lozenges, and prayers really worked. Unfortunately, my faith has worn off and I'm paying for the delay now. I feel bad, sound bad, and quite frankly, I look pretty bad. The only thing that seems to soothe me is a 12oz can of Fresca. Yes, the sparkling citrus flavored soda has all the answers. The best part about it is that it is practically nothing. No caffeine, no calories, no fat, no carbs, nothing! So, I'm going to head home to my near empty refrigerator (it's in pre-Thanksgiving mode) and pour myself a cold one. Fresca. . .the beverage of champions.
Maybe I should be their spokeswoman. Yes, yes I think that's a good idea.
