Good Dental Hygiene

Clean Teeth. . .GOOD. Slimey Teeth. . .BAD. I know what you're thinking. In my last post I was promoting my modeling career and in this post I'm without any make-up. This is Michelle "fresh" without any worldliness. Kinda scary, huh? I figured I should at least comment on how I start and end everyday! Don't worry, I do get some mid-day brushing in on occasion (especially if I'm going to be with "someone special"). For those of you looking to change-up your brushing routine--let me offer my secrets to good dental hygiene. First of all, PASTE, PASTE, PASTE. That gel goo doesn't do a stinkin' bit of good. You've got to use something more powerful with some grit. I have always been a Crest fan, but have recently loved Colgate. Secondly, I'm a firm believer is brushing with cold water. Some of my family members swear by hot water, but I find the cool stuff to be so much more refreshing. Now, I always start brushing from the bottom left, work my way to the bottom right and then top right and finish top left. I like to keep things organized so I don't miss any of my precious chompers. Finally, I have to be mobile when I brush. The ultimate in multi-tasking is when I brush my teeth and make my bed. Don't try that at home. . .I've been practicing for years. Finally, let me put a plug in for flossing. We should all do more of it.

Ummm...I would disagree that cold water is best. I could quite possibly be one of the family members that brushes with warm/hot water. You don't wash your dishes with cold water, so why would you put cold water on those pearly whites?

Sometimes I am frightened and wonder what I have gotten myself into...

I have to admit I am a hot water type of gal too. Maybe there is a pattern to the madness. The redhead women in the family like hot! The hotter the better! Michelle is a cool brunette.
