Home for the Holidays
For some reason, it has been a tough Christmas Season (no I didn't intentionally rhyme this time--oh I did it again, sorry!) It hasn't been tough in the Tiny Tim sense. . .like I'm without shoes or even that I stopped believing in Santa. I guess I've just been a little bit sluggish getting into the spirit. That is, until today when I ran across this picture of our house in Idaho. I can't even tell you how excited I am to go home. I know there will be a candle lit in the living room and The Christmas Story 24 hr marathon playing on the TV (even though my mom hates that movie). Dad will have turned the heat on in my bedroom and Ryan will want to play Burnout on the XBox. Undoubtedly, we'll make frog eye salad and scurry around Christmas day to gather white elephant gifts for the extended family party. My mom will probably be wrapping until the wee hours of the morning and Kimmy will want to return half of the clothes she gets from Santa. I bet Grandpa will get another gift certificate to Golden Corral that he won't use and I'll have to travel back to Provo on bad roads. Do you know what? I can't wait. It's amazing the joy that can be found in this little house during this blessed time of year.

I'm counting down these awful 4:00 mornings working at the gym to be in this fabulous place! Only today and tomorrow left and I can ditch this Logan, America place and head north to BLACKFOOT AMERICA! HAPPY HOLIDAYS...I mean MErry Christmas
I would just like to say that this blog has been both good and bad. Everyone who is anyone is talking about it. I would like to say that I was mentioned under the Holiday photo of the old homestead. It made me sound like a selfish brat. There was only one Christmas in the Virtue household where I was unhappy with some clothing items!!! Only one!! I am a very happy reciever. I love Christmas at the Virtue's.
I would like to fight that one. EVERY YEAR there is a return...NEVER SATISFIED! It's all about Kimmy Kimmy Kimmy! Just Kidding.
