LOST: One Quaker Parrot

I think I have figured out the mystery of the birdy hit and run. Last week on my running route I noticed this "LOST PARROT" sign. I thought it was a little bit strange that someone would lose a parrot. Upon closer inspection, the sign reads: Lost Parrot. Friendly, hand tame, Quaker Parrot. Lost March 17th. I think I might have found the parrot yesterday just blocks from the LOST sign. Actually, the parrot found me. . .or at least the window of my German engineered automobile. I might have killed some little kid's pet Quaker parrot. If that doesn't ruin my "good girl" image, I don't know what would. I'm so sorry, Mr. Parrot. I'm sure you're in a better place. In honor of Austin's Quaker parrot, I'm going on a Quaker Oatmeal diet this week. . . .no fowl included.
