Memorial Day Romp Part 1
I'm back from the Memorial Day Romp. Yes, I should be unpacking my belongings, but I'm stalling. Besides, I've been away for a few days and feel it necessary give everyone a taste of things to come. . .memoirs of the best Memorial Day Romp in the history of ROMPS! Yep, it was an amazing weekend full of mystery, joy, romance, rodents, tragedy, and hard labor. . .not to mention the great photos taken to enhance your blogging pleasure.
We will begin with the romantic portion of the trip. Miss Mary Alice is officially off the market. She and Ben tied the knot on Saturday. She looked beautiful and Ben couldn't get that silly grin off his brace face. Did I mention it rained the entire day? They didn't really seem to mind, but Kimmy was in a state without her "Lock-Down" spray. You know--Kimmy and I had very important responsiblities. She was on "bridal hair" duty and I took advantage of my floral connections to provide some color for the celebration. Does anyone know where I can purchase a refrigerated truck? All of these trips to Idaho with wedding flowers are starting to take their toll on Kimmy & Mickey. By the end of the 3 1/2 hour drive. . .we're nearly frozen. It's tough sacrificing for the good of the bride. Only hope someone will do the same for me someday soon!
