Do you see what I'm saying? I hope not!

I don't like MEETINGS. So this morning we met to discuss a new records recovery system we are implementing in the coming weeks. It was actually a pretty interesting discussion and I found myself getting excited that the new system will significantly reduce the amount of paper I handle. The only problem was that the woman presenting the information (who is very competant) always uses the phrase "Do you see what I'm saying?" Oh, it was driving me crazy. I wanted to stand up and scream---"NO, I can't SEE what you're saying."

I know she had no idea that the phrase came from her mouth over 20 times in the 1 hr long meeting. I almost felt bad for her. Do I do stuff like that without being aware? Oh, I hope not. If I have any repetitive tendencies, I'd request that someone let my subconscious know as soon as possible.

My boss says "ya' know what I mean?" about 100 times in hour. I mostly hear him say it to other people as I am sitting just outside his office. It drives me crazy!!! So, I see what you're saying
