It's official--today marked the halfway mark to 30. I have really been trying to prepare myself for the looming milestone. I just keep reminding myself that I am going to be amazing and do amazing things in my 30s. Afterall, I have a lot of things going for me. I'm aging gracefully. I have lots of friends and family who love and support my aging self. I have a job I love. I'm grounded, reasonable, and slowly, but surely--I'm getting better.
The best news is that there are a lot of amazing people who will hit the 30 year mark in the coming months. . .including Krista, Ludacris, Kirsti, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ashton Kutcher, Mary Alice, and Meredith. Heavens--I have lots of friends who are already in their 30s and fabulous. . .Marie, Keiffer, Reese Witherspoon, Melis, Miss Alicia, Loveless#1, Tiger Woods, Cindy, Paul, Matt Damon, Jmf, Fred Savage. . .they've survived it and so can I.
Here's to the next 6 months. I'm going to finish my 20s with a bang. . .you just watch and see.

6 months isn't that far off but You look pretty far off from 30.
