Birthday Shout OUT
So, by my calculations, it's time to celebrate the birthday of another darling aunt. This is Leah and today is her "big day." She is a hoot and a half. Anyone who has spent time with this lady knows that her laughter is contagious--almost to the point of dehabilitation. Remember how she and Candace both suffer from weak bladders? Is that hereditary?
Leah has a wonderful spirit about her. I love it when we are together. She is always so happy to see me. . .so happy! I suspect that she makes almost anyone she comes in contact feel that exact way. Leah is adventurous. Not really in the extreme sport sense, but more in a willingness to do things some grown-ups would be too "stuffy" to attempt. I remember when I was learning to ride a bike that Leah would get on my banana seat to show my how easy it was. Leah taught us how to play Cheeky Leeky. I'm pretty sure she was a full participant in the 2004 paper bag fiasco. I remember that she gave Kimmy and I a fish one year for Christmas. We were so excited. . .though I don't recall my parents being especially thrilled. Oh, the joys of being an aunt.
Leah--you're wonderful. Thank you for lots of laughs. Hope your day was super-fantasmic!
Love ya--
