Monday Night Football

Since the mid-80s, the Virtues have held a special place in their hearts for the Chicago Bears. In fact, last night after work I was asking Lula what their plans were for the evening and she quickly responded that they would be watching the Bears game for FHE. Ryan happens to be a HUGE fan. . .always has been--even in the lean years. I think is stems from a strange obsession with Jim McMahon. Anybody watch last night's football game? What a comeback. AMAZING. I have to admit that I felt bad for the Cardinals. . .but let's face it--they can't finish a game to save their souls. . .come to think of it, it wasn't exactly a stellar performance by the Bears either. So, this morning I opted for the gym over running outside just so I could watch ESPN review the fiasco/miracle. I hate it when people at the gym try to change the channel while I'm watching ESPN. They just assume that a girl wouldn't be interested in such things. I never change stations when I see a guy watching the Style Network. HELLO--double standard. I suppose that's a topic for another post. Anyway, if you didn't see the game and haven't had a chance to review the highlights, I'd suggest catching the evening news.

I not only had to medicate the boy - I almost had to sit on him so he wouldn't go through the ceiling. The father chickened out and went upstairs. Today we went to Wall-mart - Saturday morning with the "two MALES". I can't believe I am living through this - two me and only me. I swear I will pay any one of the three daughters to move back. I would even take Eric and Laura - now wait a minute - What am I thinking?
Three males against two. Maybe you all could move back and it would be 3 males and 4 females. Yes I would like that - this 2 males and 1 female is just plain downright unfair. They are impossible. The poor checkout "cute girl" at Walmart was behind me all the way. Here they are telling her "my check would bounce" and they would meet me in the car. I don't know I might have to move to PROVO.
