O, Halloween Tree. . .how dead are thy branches.
This morning I ran outside. It felt great once I got going. Cold, but great. I love to run in the beautiful neighborhoods near my house. There are lots of new homes going up and I often find myself coveting their wonderfulness. As I was turning the corner toward the final stretch of my run, I approached one of the nicest homes in the development and was aghast at what I saw. Not a half-naked man picking up the newspaper. . .not a ferocious dog. . not even a freshly hunted deer hanging in the yard. It was WORSE! They had a brightly lit ORANGE Halloween Tree in their front window. HELLO--Pegan WHITE TRASH. I love Fall and Halloween as much as the next girl, but come on. . .this is ridiculous.
