Brett & Tyler

A quick note (or two) about tonight's game. First of all, the Cougars blew the Cowboys through the proverbial roof! It was a great game. . .cold, but great. Every game we sit in front of BW and behind two orphaned boys. Actually, I'm sure they're not orphans, but they come to each home game without any appearance of a parental unit. I'm guessing that they're 11 and 9. They are ridiculous. One of them looks just like Harry Potter. In fact, I wait for him to pull out his Nimbus and shoot across LaVell Edwards Stadium at any given moment. Instead, he and his brother eat lots of concessions, lean their seat backs into my knees, and make these crazy turkey noises. Yep, you read that right--turkey noises. At first, I thought the mini mystery men were a bit annoying, but as the weeks have passed, I've come to appreciate what they represent. . .the kid inside of nearly every full-grown man in the stadium. What do they do during the 4-quarters of play? They eat hotdogs, popcorn, and nachos. They lean their seat backs into others, and make strange noises. So, tonight I introduced myself to Brett and Tyler. We're buds. In fact, next game I think I'll share my SweaTarts with them. Watch out, Mark & Jeff. . .you might have some competition.
