Cheese & 20/20

It was our first annual CHEESE night at GV 15. We had people over for a myriad of cheese perfection. Goat cheese appetizers, a giant spinach cheeseball, bruschetta with garlic & herb feta, pear & gorgonzola pizza. . .it was such fun. Mold is good. Old mold is even better! Good times.

After the high of cheese night, I caught a clip of 20/20 with my good friend John Stossel reporting. He was doing a special on charity work done in the U.S. As soon as he showed a child living in a tire in Africa, I lost it. Here I am having people over to eat mold and there are children without a home or any food. . .let alone goat cheese. As a result of this eye-opening piece, I've decided that I am going to charge an entrance fee to my next Cheese Night and the proceeds will go to some deserving cause of my choosing.

Oh, why didn't I think to serve cheese curds tonight? In honor of grandpa. I loved it when he'd bring home squeeky cheese. . .

Uh, oh...if Loveless #2 finds out there was a cheese party and he didn't know about it, he might be a little upset. You know the man and his cheese.

you better have a good reason for me not knowing about this. the fact that i live two states away doesn't count. do you think a days travel would keep me from such a wonderous food fest? c'mon, let's be real.
