The Uglies
Last night I finally finished reading The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. I'm not sure why it took me so long--as it's a pretty quick and easy read, but it was sweet and sad and it made me cry. I recommend it.
So, it's a new week and a new book. Today at lunch while I'm eating my healthy turkey sandwich and a bit of fresh cut pineapple, I'm going to start reading The Uglies. It's another recommendation by Annette and Aubri--so I'm sure it will be delightful (just like they are).

Loved it. But be prepared to also read the Pretties and the Specials.
That's our book club selection for the month! Just put it on hold and waiting my turn...
Yes, I didn't realize that "The Uglies" was part of a series of books. I hate book series. Let's just get it done with in one book, people!
