The Actor & the Housewife

It took me two trips to Oregon, but I finally finished reading The Actor and the Housewife by Shannon Hale. In general, I'm a Shannon Hale fan. I loved Goose Girl and Austenland, but I have mixed feelings about this novel. It seemed a bit forced, at some parts BORING, and often stereotypically based. BUT at the end of the day, it was a sweet and completely unbelievable read that kept me occupied for over 6 hours of flying--and these days, that alone says something.
