The Most Important Shoes of My LIFE
Remember how I'm running the Ogden Marathon??? Trust me, I've tried to forget a few times myself. BUT, the counter on the right of my blog reminds me that there are now fifty-something days until the race begins. SCARY. Don't get me wrong, I've been running. I've been experimenting with pre-run foods, water belts, socks, anti-chafing products. You name it, I've researched and read-up on most facets of this great ambition. Biggest concern--my little feet! So, I went to pay a visit to my friends at Runner's Corner in Orem. They helped me select these little gems. After testing them out on an 16 miler last Saturday, I'm confident that they were a good choice! Love you Saucony Grids. . . even in a seemingly giant size 8.

Are you trying to tell me discreetly that I have giant feet? I'm not an 8, but close. At least I don't have hobbit feet!
All those times we said people who do this kind of stuff are insane...and look at you and Laura...now that it has been declared "unhealthy" for me, I would do anything to run a marathon. Embrace every blister and love it. And then when it's over come talk me into taking up spinning or cycling or perhaps even going to the gym on a regular basis.
Oh man! I am so excited for your marathon. Coolest thing I have ever done. Kind of wish I had another around the corner. Good luck and enjoy the training!!!!
Rachel--you are my current inspiration! I'm so glad you had such a great experience. It give me hope and makes me excited.
