Lola & Will

Two of my favorite people celebrated birthdays this past weekend. Lori turned "thirty something" on Sunday and Will celebrated his 2nd birthday yesterday. Lori is probably my best friend. I talk to her at least once a day. She is brilliant, beautiful, and can make me laugh. I love that she sometimes knows me better than I know myself. One of her greatest assets is her ability to give perspective. . .something a single "twenty-something" needs on occassion. I appreciate her wit, sincerity, and her willingness to share her family. Each of her children are darling. Will is the youngest and on a cuteness scale of 1-10. . .well, he's off the charts!It seems impossible that 2 years have passed since he was born. I happen to have been present for the blessed occassion and can I just tell you that there is something absolutely amazing about the love between a mother and her child. You can see it in their eyes. Happy birthday to a dynamic (and often mischevious) mother-son duo. Love you both!
