Reese & Paula

Two problems. First, I'm feeling a little weepy and sentimental tonight. Secondly, I took about a billion pictures this weekend. The result. . .lots of family stuff that only a few will probably appreciate, but hey--it's my blog and I'll cry if I want to!

This is my cousin, Reese, and his new wife, Paula. Reese is just a few days older than I am and we grew up together. Yes, that means we swam in my blue fish swimming pool naked. Yes, that means we were spoiled by our aunts and Wally. Yes, that means we bossed all of our younger cousins around. We were the first grandchildren and as a result--the favorites! At least that's what we like to think.

Anyway, I only see him once or, if I'm lucky, twice a year because the little stinker is brilliant and now lives in London. He and Paula married a few months ago and had a reception Saturday evening. Paula is a wonderful addition to our family. She is sweet and beautiful--not to mention the fact that she is from Spain and speaks 4 languages (she'll fit right in). Congratulations to you both!

p.s. I hope the newlyweds are ready for company soon. London is calling my name!

Reese--you look so handsome. It must run in the family.
The picture is further proof that Reese and I are grandpa's favorites. . .though Kimmy continues to give us a run for our money. Hey, grandpa. . .thanks for the vegetables from your garden. Mmmm. Those carrots carried me through a 4 hour drive back to Provo. . .TRAFFIC!
