Did someone say TURTLE BAY?

Life is stressful. Work is absolutely crazy this week. I'm not sure why, but everyone is having a party, meeting, wedding, meal, or conference over the next 3 days. Did I mention that there are also the usual festivities associated with the football game? The good news is that they have all requested my services. I'm so popular! The bad news is that they have all requested my services. As I was looking over a sea of centerpieces this afternoon wondering how I was ever going to finish everything on my Tuesday "to do list" my phone rang. I'm pretty sure I took at least 50 calls today, but this one was special. I immediately recognized the voice on the line as a certain Mike Virtue. . .a call from the mayor--I was thrilled. He said--"let's play a little game of word association." I know for a fact that the Mayor doesn't really like to play games. In fact, when we play Uno on Sunday nights as a family, I'm pretty sure he just does it to humor us. Needless to say, I was intrigued. The first word association--TURTLE BAY. My response--"HEAVEN." The next word--RESERVATIONS. Oh, I could hardly contain myself. Yep, this is the resort we will be staying at in Hawaii. It's on the North Shore and everyone keeps telling how amazing it is. Oh, I can make it through a bazillion events, centerpieces, phone calls, meetings. . .you name it. If this beach is waiting for me on the other end of this madness, anything is possible.
I am going snorkeling. Horseback riding. Golfing. Tennis anyone? Pineapple Plantation. Maybe we should stay for 2 weeks.
I'm going to take my early morning runs along this beach.
