Itty Bitty Kitty Steps

I don't know how she did it, but Lori convinced me to not only hold the cat (Gracie), but to allow my photo to be taken with the little feline. I must admit that I was fine holding Gracie as long as she held still, but as soon as she started to squirm. . .so did I.

Look--I'm having an adverse allergic reaction. These convulsions are a symptom of my anti-cat syndrome. Warning: this photo might not be suitable for young children.

Of course, around the children, I have to pretend like Gracie and I are the best of friends. I don't want them to know that I secretly hoped Gracie would run into the field of sunflowers and never return. Ali love to share Gracie with Michelley. Thanks, Ali!
I suppose holding the cat is the first step to accepting that it is now a part of my favorite little family. Gosh--the sacrifices I make for those I love.

Micky, what have you done? Don't you remember last week at the Loveless household? You saw how that cat was trying to manipulate it's way into the house? That's what they do, they manipulate. Both you and Ryan have been put under thier evil spells. If you don't mind, I'll continue to take my place at the top of the stairs whenever I know there is one lurking around outside.
